Come to Temple and LEAVE the CAR at HOME !!

The Board has voted to provide transportation to members living in the SW corridor on the first and third Fridays of each month. For the month of September, the ride is free. Thereafter, cost to defray Temple expenses will be $3.00 per person or $5.00 per couple. Rides will be provided on a first come, first served reservation only basis and those members wishing to participate must call Michele Kolsky, 873-3995 or 895-9163, or e-mail her at to insure that they will be on the driver's manifest. There will be 2 stops, picking up passengers: We have permission from Oak Run for the transport vehicle to pick up members in the overflow parking lot at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st. and 3rd. Fridays of the month. The other pickup location is the new Publix parking lot at SR. 200 and 80th Ave. toward the street and away from the stores. This will be at 7:15 p.m. We will aim to return at 9:30. This stop should serve On Top of the World and other communities in the general vicinity.

Blood Donation

Temple Beth Shalom has established a blood bank with the Florida Blood Center. This is a great way to check your health, learn more about your cholesterol numbers, and feel good knowing you have made an important contribution towards another human being. Please call: 1-888-9DONATE and set up an appointment. At the time of your donation, indicate that you want this unit noted as a donation to Temple Beth Shalom's blood bank. If you have any questions call me or ask for Debbie Roth (who is usually in their office - but not always). Thanks in advance for your donation. Bob Miller
